Privacy Policy

Your payment log is stored on your iPhone. Map features, image sharing, and subscription services use the data described below.

What we collect

Bank Tracker has no user accounts or advertising. The developer does not operate a server that receives your payment log. Payments, budgets, categories, notes, receipt photos, and spending-habit questionnaire answers are stored locally.

Bank Tracker contains no third-party analytics, advertising or subscription SDKs. Bank Tracker Pro purchases are handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit: the app checks your subscription status on your device and never sees your payment details.

Maps and sharing

When you search for a payment location, the search text is sent to Apple Maps. Displaying maps or creating a map image requests map data for the displayed area from Apple. Creating a street-map sticker requests tiles for that area from OpenFreeMap. These services receive network information such as your IP address. The app does not send payment amounts, card names, notes, or receipts with map searches or tile requests.

If you share an expense image, it can contain the merchant, amount, location, and attached receipt. The image is handed to the app or recipient you select in the system share sheet. Receipt photos are re-encoded without their original embedded metadata.

Subscriptions

Bank Tracker Pro is billed through your Apple account. Apple processes the payment; the app never sees your card details. You can manage or cancel the subscription anytime in your App Store subscription settings, and restore a previous purchase from the paywall or the in-app help screen.

What stays on your device

The app stores, locally on your iPhone only:

This data lives in the app's private container (shared only with the app's own widget through an Apple App Group) and is included in your device backups according to your iOS backup settings. Deleting the app deletes the data.

Permissions

Apple Pay and Wallet

Bank Tracker does not read Wallet history or card credentials. Payment details reach the app through the Shortcuts automation you create and control, for the cards selected there. You can optionally pass Current Location from Shortcuts, which controls its own location permission. The app does not assign your later device location to earlier payments.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated text will be published at this same URL.
