What the app is
Bank Tracker is a personal spending log. It records Apple Pay tap-to-pay purchases through the iOS Shortcuts "Transaction" automation that you create and control, plus anything you enter manually.
What the app is not
- It is not a banking app and has no connection to your bank. It never sees your credentials or your account balance.
- It does not provide financial advice. Totals, stats and budget alerts are informational and depend on what iOS passes to the app and on what you enter.
- It is not a system of record. Your bank's statement is the authoritative record of your transactions; captured data can be incomplete (for example, physical-card payments are never visible to iOS).
Your data, your device
All financial data stays on your iPhone (see the privacy policy). You are responsible for your own device backups; deleting the app deletes its data.
Bank Tracker Pro subscription
- Bank Tracker Pro is an optional auto-renewable subscription ($0.99 per month, or $9.99 per year with a 7-day free trial; local prices may vary) that unlocks the spending map and expense sharing.
- Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase. The yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial; you are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours earlier.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store subscription settings.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policy.
Warranty and liability
The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for decisions made based on the app's figures or for data loss. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law in your country of residence.
